Bervinig is the King of Halskapa. He has produced no heirs but does have one daughter, Hedda, who was married into the Stjordvik noblility.
He is generally regarded as an ineffective ruler, old and increasingly irrational. The kingdom is mainly under the control of his seven bickering jarls. Only Skapa Hjarring remains under his direct control, during those moments when he can be direct.
