Biography:
Gaelin Thuried runs the Upper Anuire Traders and specializes in trading goods in Thurazor, able to maintain only a few factors and agents in Dhoesone to purchase whatever the goblins will pay for.
Gaelin is married to Rosalind Evaerlin. Her brothers are Richard Evaerlin, the Lord of Evearlin, and Gaerith Evaerlin, the High Judge of Soniele. Ivinie Thuried is his cousin and most likely successor to him in the guild.
The enormously fat Thuried is infamous for his vast appetites and said to hold wild orgies where scandalous acts are undertaken nightly. While increasingly idle Gaelin is still cunning enough to realize the peril his guild faces both from within and without. In Boeruine he uses the Duke?s strict laws to protect and expand his holdings; in Mhoried he uses gifts to retain the favor of the Duke while bribing his way into the favor of the duke?s servants. The guilds of Thurazor, said to number as many goblins as men in their ranks, are said to disdain such niceties with murder rumored to be an acceptable method of advancement.
