Amrie the Red is a sharp-eyed rogue with a gift for intrigue. Amrie has spent some years gaining her reputation and is noted for her daring and acts of courage. Her adventures have left her with an array of contacts across the north and the favor of several mercenary companies.
Mheallie Bireon frequently ensures that rumors of this treasure or some danger are sent to Amrie ? if Amrie succeeds in winning her prize / destroying the threat then her reputation grows and with it the respect of those who Amrie would deal with as she rises within the guild. Should Amrie fail, then she will have proved unworthy and so no loss to the guild?
Unbeknownst to Amrie, Mheallie is considering her not just as a lieutenant, but as a potential heir. Of course Amrie has many rivals that Mheallie is also considering but Amrie?s fame outside the guild itself gives her an edge over most of her rivals.
