Bannier Andien is the Guildmaster of Andien and Sons.
Bannier is native to Talinie and has overseen harvesting on the hills and fishing all his life ? like his father and grandfather before him. Andien and Sons is less aggressive than the other guilds, and prides itself in fair, if firm, deal-making.
Bannier belonged to Northern Imports and Exports until a few years ago when he tired of its tightfistedness and formed a breakaway guild in Talinie and Dhoesone. Until recently he looked well placed to become the favored guildmaster in Talinie, however Adaere Doneim spread rumors in Talinie about Bannier's past that Bannier could not disprove and Bannier lost a lot of the trust he had worked so hard to build up.
Despite the guilds name, Bannier has no sons, the guild was in fact named for his father. Bannier's brother still works in the guild and is leading the efforts of the Guild in the Rjurik Highlands. Bannier himself has a daughter, Ariele Andien, only, his best efforts to father a son have failed and he is considering adopting a lad, or, despite his love for his wife, seeing if a mistress can provide him with an heir.
