Storm's Prefect is the title used to denote a the regent of the Church of Storm's Height.
The Imperial Temple had several High Prefects, each responsible for maintaining orthodoxy. In the Eastern Marches, soldiers were trained in the right attitude to war according to the doctrines of the Imperial Temple as administered by the High Prefect of Cuiraécen at the Moriel academy known as Storm's Height. With the dissolution of the Imperial Temple, the faith of Cuiraécen took its own path, and for a time, Storm's Height followed the Militant Order of Cuiraécen. However, as more and more of the old Imperial temple fractured, Storm's Height also chose to pursue an independent course. The High Prefect of the Moriel academy of Storm's Height became the Storm's Prefect of the Church of Storm's Height.
