Main Page » Chapter five/Ruling a domain
Domains represent organized social or political structures. Each domain has a ruler who is invested with the domain by a cleric capable of performing the ritual of investiture. Each domain consists of holdings, provinces, and assets. Domains which include any provinces are called realms. Each domain has an attitude toward its ruler.
Each season (three months) rulers adjust their domain attitude and manage their finances.
Each month, the ruler undertakes many actions to govern his realm. However, one goal each month occupies the greater portion of the ruler's efforts, and this is called a domain action.
