Kyndelsting

The Kyndelsting is a meeting of all the people who seek to gather in a great assembly of the kingdom of Stjordvik at Sundsvaal. It is held during the Midwinter festival, and all of the freemen able to hold a weapon can participate. The assembly is lead by the lawspeaker of Stjordvik, who is a druid of wide prominence. It has been a growing tradition now for some time that the King nominates the lawspeaker of Stjorvik and his nomination is considered by the druids. Hjalmar Helder has been lawspeaker for many years now.
