Description: Daeric is somewhat fit for his profession. His height is only 5 ft. 7 in. He has oily, pink cast skin. He also happens to be shaved. His hair is cropped to neck length, and looks like it's honey blond. He has blue green eyes. He favors his Anuirean heritage.

Leadership: As a 6th level character, Daeric has begun to attract followers and a cohort. Daeric's apprentice, Skalli (MRj; W1; Vo, great, 49; NG), is the son of Ohlaak the Dragon. Most of Daeric's followers include some of the staff of Soniele Manor and those wizards and sorcerers who are members of Heliomanse.

Rank: Daeric has the right to bear arms, the right to a unique set of arms, the right to dispense justice, attend Fhiele's court in Sonnelind, and the right to a trial by his peers.

Title: Dearic is universally acknowledged as the Count of Soniele.

Education: Daeric recives a +1 bonus to all Knowledge (Nobility and Royalty) and Perform (Etiquette) checks.

Scribe Scroll: Daeric may inscribe spells onto scrolls.

Brew Potion: Daeric may concoct magical potions.

Spell Focus (Evocation): Daeric imposes +1 to the Difficulty Class for all saving throws against spells from the school of Evocation that he casts.

Daeric is the son of Aartric, the old baron's older son. He's very much a traditional Anuirean aristocrat, but he is also very much a gifted thinker and this has lead him to wizardry and a regard for Avanalae.

Daeric was begotten of Aartric Dhoesone and his Vos mother, Yekaterina Tabachkov, who was to be a very young paladin of Haelyn from Molchev. As a result, the bloodline he inherited from his father was diluted (Yekaterina's bloodline was tainted). Aside from that, he has notable ancestors on both sides. Including Javiere Dhoesone who was a powerful prelate of the Northern Imperial Temple of Haelyn, and Borislava Sabanov, who was a humble wizard and medicant of Lirovka.

Aartric, the younger brother of Fhiele Dhoesone was never heir presumptive, but it was considered possible that he might succeed his father as Baron if the elves of Tuarhievel did not intend to return her upon the death of their father, if not sooner. However, Aartric believed his son would never succeed as Baron, and sent him far away from the court of Dhoesone. Even as a child, Daeric obviously a brilliant genius. He became a masterful expert in Mathematics with a talent for watching the tricks played by traveling magicians. When he copied all of the magician's simple legerdemain, his father had him sent to the Imperial College of Magic in the City of Anuire.

After he completed his studies, Daeric returned to Dhoesone (traveling through Cariele and attuning himself to a source there). After returning, Daeric attended a knighthood ceremony that was knighting one of the Dhariel clan, Daeric had a spirited discussion with his cousin. This resulted in a desert throwing fight, with which he and Clumine threw pies and other fine deserts at each other. Including a Rjurik delicacy called ice cream. Covered in deserts, Daeric found that he caught the attention of the voluptuous maiden Aithne Dhariel. Embarrassed, he found that the girl was laughing at him, but rather than become furious at the laughing maiden he fell in love.

Daeric then sought to win the maiden for his wife. He started competing with several Romantic Knights who were suitors. But he had to do it his way. While the romantic knights did feats of daring, adventure, and used poetry and song to win Aithne's heart; Daeric won by taking the maiden out on sunny days and picnics. Eventually, he asked for her hand in marriage, and she accepted; rejecting the other suitors for her hand. The two were married four years ago, and Aithne is determined to have Daeric reconciled with Clumine.

However, as brilliant and as studious as Daeric is; he happens to have problems with his weight. He couldn't control his weight for some reason, and he would balloon and deflate until his late teens when his body finally stabilized at his present weight. When he returned, he found his old rival, Clumine, invested with half the Sources of Dhoesone and the new Court Astrologer for the Baroness Fhiele Dhoesone. So, logically, he attuned himself to the other half before Clumine could claim them. Clumine considered the sources hers for the claiming intending to restore her domain to the full height it had once enjoyed during her mother's youth long before, she never forgave Dearic for "stealing her inheritance".

In fact, the two are competing for Sources in Dhoesone, as well as jockeying for prominence at court. The Baroness appointed him Court Academician soon after. As a fervent follower of Avanalae, he finds Clumine's devotion to Ruornil perplexing; a puzzle. The two often clash. They have been competing since they can both remember. The only time the Baroness can get the two of them to work together is if the realm is in trouble. It's incredibly fortuitous that they use complimentary realm spells.

A keen hunter Daeric not only leads his own (very popular) hunt, but also controls the issuance of hunting permits throughout the forests of Dhoesone to ensure that game is not driven to extinction. All huntsmen in the realm, which is much of the nobility - court Daeric to gain these hunting permits so that they can hunt on crown land.

Daeric frequently disappears to meditate and study in the Grimpen Mire, he has long sought to unlock the secrets of the mire although he has so far been too cautious to risk contacting the powerful spirits within it to date.

The Golden Eagle (Aquila chrysaetos) is one of the best known birds of prey in the Northern Hemisphere of Aebyrnis. Golden Eagles are renowned for their striking appearance and combination of power with agility in flight. Daeric's Golden Eagle Aquila was trained from birth by Daeric himself. Daeric was training a bird in Falconry that was usually reserved for the Anuirean Emperor, i.e. one of Reole's direct descendants. But Daeric was allowed to train Aquila on the basis that he worshiped Avanalae.When he finished his Apprenticeship with one of the blooded teachers at the Imperial College, he made attuned Aquila to be his familiar.
These birds of prey inhabit nearly every terrain and climate, though they all prefer high, secluded nesting spots.
A typical eagle is about 3 feet long and has a wingspan of about 7 feet. The statistics presented here can describe any similar-sized, diurnal bird of prey.
