You don't

Hopefully it will be one of the areas corrected by the upcoming patch.

You don't get more BAs. The only thing a higher BL does for you is let you
earn more RPs per DT.

It isn't but the blood abilities now actually do something. During
adventures certain blood abilities now allow you to cast a limited
number of spell. eg travel allows 1 teleport / adventure or something
like that.

In my group, everytime you do bloodtheft you roll on the table from the
beginning, as if you were creating a new character. But I am afraid this
only works if bloodtheft is very unusual, as I think it should be.

IMC, I ruled that anyone over 120 BS would get either the blood form or blood
trait blood abilities. Once your blood becomes that strong, its power WILL
transform you.

The game didn't allow one to use any blood abilities. I believe that has
now been rectified with the patch and should allow some usage.

I don't know how your game is working, but my program also doesn't allow
me to do anything with the blood abilities. Iget no benefit at all from
healing, and my teleport goes nowhere..perhaps there are a few flawed
copies of the game floating around here...

Healing does heal (page 26) and Travel (page29) does allow a limited number of teleport-like abilities dependent upon the bloodline derivation for the form they take and the character's level for the number of times per week they can be performed. It appears that most of the blood abilities do something, although the perceived usefulness of some may be greater than the perceived usefulness of others. Not sure what you mean by a 'patch' but very puzzled by your statement that your blood abilities 'never do anything'. Perhaps I have taken you out of context and misunderstood your meaning?

Yeah, but logically I would think that if a character regent would start
to obtain that level of blood ability that the Gorgon and other major
players (SwordHawk, Magian, etc.) would start take a major notice of the
character, especially if the regent was in their geographic area of C.
He would probably be harvested by then. One thing I would like to know
is there any certain level that or incident that makes a Ehrshegh? Hap
Prechlen Thelma est Chauchen of Treucht is said to be an emerging
ehrshegh with a line of Great 62. If a scion happens to kill a Awnsheigh
(sp?) with the blood of Azrai, then he or she could become a Awn.
What causes an Ehrshegh, divine favor?
Any ideas?
