Ok, if you've got the Havens supplement, you will know that there are
Sahuagin in the Krakenstaur. Now, you may also be aware that TSR is
publishing a Sahuagin adventure this year. Do any of you have it? If
so, do you also have Havens? And finally, is it your opinion that the
Sahuagin adventure put out by TSR can be used effectively in the middle
of the Krakenstaur as the adventure suggested in Havens?

Thanx,

Tripp

I can tell you that the adventure seems to be working fine for my DM since I
just got done taking a character through that module. It seems that it's
working just fine for me also.

Question: Do the Sahuagin have any blooded regents? Do they rule any
underwater kingdoms?

According to Havens, both of those are distinct posibilities.

Myself, I'd encourage it. I think the sahuagin material the AD&D core group
has published is terrific. Believe it or not, I DIDN'T KNOW they were
working on sahuagin material when I was writing HAVENS (we work on
different schedules, and, when I'm writing, I tend to cut myself off from
the rest of the department sometimes)--or I would have included more. I
just thought the sahuagin sounded like a great race to have hanging around
in the Black Ice Bay and near the Krakenstaur worshiping the Kraken. Of
course, I had to make them able to live in frigid water, but that's a
pretty minor modification (the AD&D group didn't seem to mind--they're
pretty much the same as core sahuagin in most other respects).

use the sahuagin adventure based out of the island off of Muden... The later
adventures could take the PCs into the Krakenstaur.
