Is the conversion by Travis Doom a supplement to the box set? Or a standalone?

Although I'm not sure, I think it can be used as both.

I agree, can be used as both. I am suggesting it to player in my pbem who aren't familiar with the Birthright rules. Personally, I don't use a lot of what TD has created, but it does have a lot of good ideas that you can use.

Definately a supplement. It is nearly useless without the box set (especially the ruins of empire) to _explain_ the wonders of the birthright universe. The conversion manual attempts to be a 'complete' conversion, but makes now attempt to describe the world, etc.
