All right, since it pretty much seems as if we are going to do the
the ImpCit (you can count this as a vote for it) I have decided to stake a
claim before anyone else has a chance to take it. I want to develope the
Anuirean Imperial Theater (If, by some twist of fate we end up doing some
other city call it the "x" Royal Theater). Since this isn't a world shaking
establishment I think that I can safely place it anywhere.
Anyway, as a sort of deposit on this site I'm giving you not one,
but two NPCs that call the Theater "home" (Well, at least they call it
"workplace":)

Ariele Moorshone

Female Anuirean 4th Level Thief, NE

Bloodline:Vorynn Major 24

Abilities: Unreadable Thoughts, Alter Appearence

Appearence:

Long brown hair falling around her pretty shoulders. A beautious face with
radiant eyes. A smile that can melt even the most leaden of hearts. These
are the lasting impressions of Ariele Moorshone. She has a face that would
launch at least a thousand ships. Perhaps more.

A noble in dress as well as in blood, Ariele is always modestly dressed. She
is a lady after all, and it would be unbefitting of one so lovely to have a
soul blackened by sinful lust.

Description:

Unfortunately beauty is only skin deep, and in Ariele's case this is
especially true. She has a craving for power, and she seeks to achieve it
through subterfuge. One of her major advantages in this goal is that she is
blessed the bloodabilities that make this sort of life easy. She enjoys
manipulating people by impersonating others. She the most skillful actress
in the Imperial Theater afterall. It is said that it was once her only dream
in life, but then she saw how power could be weilded when she was in a
second class acting troupe under the patronage of a minor noble in Anuire City.

However she does not work alone. She has two competent henchmen: a Khinasi
warrior named Aaron el-Cunoir, and a hunchback named Doriam Tolthor. She
uses them in her plots and gives them no apparent worth besides that which
is derived from strategic value. The two men however are so enraptured by
her charm that they are completely ignorant of this fact.

History:

Up until she was in her early twenties Ariele was brought up to be a perfect
lady. Charming, beautious and well behaved. This all changed quite suddenly
when she learned of the theatre and with the aid of a thespian lover fled to
the imperial city.

It was there that she encountered the hunchback for the first time. Doriam
was abandoned and without a home. The piteous Arieile took him into her care
and helped the man to become a competent laborer. She met Aaron several
years later when on a trip to Aerenwe where he represented his distant
cousin, the merchant prince El- Hadid.

Aaron was completely seduced by her beauty, and she also came to have
affection for him. She never loved him however, instead treating him as a
friend and advisor (some of her early aristocratic teaching taught her to
look down upon interacial marriages). The Khinasi returned with her to the
city that had become the center of her life.

Over the next few years Ariele's great success as an actress brought her
closer and closer to the high society of the city and especialy to its
intrigues. She was enchanted. She had always been an inventive, intelligent
person and now she had a means of expressing this talent. Over the years She
seduced many men and in the process learned from them what to say, what to
do, how to act ,look, feel. In short she became one of the many schemeing
members of that royal city. Only more so. She plays her games through
seduction and well judged use of muscle. And regency is now her goal.

Hjarlig, the Bard

Male Rjurik Oth Level Fighter

Appearence:

A tall ruddy man, as all of those northern Rjurik are, Hjarlig is unique
among his kind. He is slender, and as physicaly well developed as are his
kin. He dresses in Anuirean garb; his hair cut in Anuirean fashions; and his
tounge speaks with Anuirean words.

In fact, it is through his speech that one truely comes to know Hjarlig. He
can manipulate the Anuirean toungue with greater skill than even the
greatest of Anuirean bards are able. Thus his name: Hjarlig the Bard. Thus
also the impressive wealth that he uses to pay for his extravagant fashions.

Description:

His eloquence has made Hjarlig known throughout the ruined empire and
beyond. Translations of his works have been found in Brectur, Khinasi and
even in his native Rjurik. Although he is such a skilled writer, all the
fame has not gone to his head.

Hjarlig is polite, charming, seductive. He is also modest, and chaste, as
well; something that his wife can surely attest. Although he does not really
enjoy disapointing the ladies, he feels that one is enough for him;
especialy Liana, who serves him as guide, as friend, and as inspiration.

Although originaly a poet, since his arrival in the Impereal City of Anuire
Hjarlig has become a playwrite. He has, at this time, 17 plays to his
credit, the greatest being "Brightfield".

Quite erratic in person he is calm at times, while at other instances he is
still in the throws of creation and he raves and shouts; spewing forth
endless lines of iambic pentameter. On the whole the calmer self will
generaly manifest.

History:

Hjarlig was born in Rjuvik. From the time that he was but a wee lad he had
always wished to dominate the mystic arts. Custom would not let him do this
however, and he could but read and try to write the poems of his tribal
tradition. It was in the early years that he composed his Riddles, a
collection of over 400 assorted riddles, most of them composed by himself.
He also wrote the epic poem "Gavin Swordwraith", which later served as the
base of his greatest play.

Unfortunately, Hjarlig's tribe did not aprove of his learning. He spent more
time in his books than he spent in his work. They called him lazy, useless,
and weak. Finally they exiled him; sending him off to the wilderness to
encounter his own fate.

By chance he came upon a wandering Brect bard who succored him and sent him
to civilization. In Muden Hjarlig learned that there was a college of
sorcery in the Impereal City of Anuire and immediately departed for that city.

He was rejected by the college of sorcery and left upon the streets to fend
for himself. It was there that he enacted his first scenes in order to make
his bread. He worked hard and in several years time had perfected his art.

Almost immediately he was brought into high society. An association of
noblesput him in charge of the Imperial Theater, where he still works to
this day.Following his many successful plays there he was married to a
minor, unblooded noble lady, Liana. His works are presented from Aerenwe to
Danigau. He is, in short, a made man.
