new regime? you mean to(r|n)y blair?
although the british legal code is a few hundred years overdue for a
serious re-write.
which brings me onto a related birthright point: legal codes.
to what extent are the churches in ainuire able to try people for
religeous crimes?
a situation that came up in our game; an npc was detained for unsheathing
a sword in the temple of haelyn. fair enough. except she was then smuggled
out of the country, and put on trial in the imperial city: resulting in
all kinds of diplomatic flak. i'm still considering having the high
priestess of haelyn in my country quietly butchered.
