I just did a search on the database on how many member names ( i know some have multiuple names, but still..)have 0 posts.
511 of the members NEVER posted on this forum.
that means we have 83 active users responsible for more then 2000 posts.
An avarage of 25 Posts per person!!
this ain't that bad :)

That means I've got over 20% of the posts! I worth 18 average people...

No Lawgiver, it only means you talk as much as 18 people.:P

Yeah, you could come here for one month each year, and you'd still talk one and a half time as a normal person. Keep posting Lawgiver, keep posting!:P

It would be nice if the 511 would share what they were thinking although for Lawgiver and my sake, maybe we would be better off if they kept quiet.
If Lawgiver is responsible for 20%, that means so am I. Which means close to half the posts come from two people. I am not sure that is so good.

Maybe we should add a seperate section call the E&L Lounge. and the two of us can run up the counter without effecting the rest of the board! :P
p.s. we have a lot of lurkers and very few posters. I haven't come to the site yet and not had at least 5 guests online.
Arjan

Aint this forum the E&L LOUNGE already :P

Perhaps a BPA (Birthright posters anonymous) thread.
Hi, I'm Lawgiver and I'm a postaholic.

I'm slowly working my way up there, though I doubt I'll ever peer you two for sheer posting rate.

I post on the fun stuff and skip the rest. Sice you are taking some help in your postaholic classes maybe limiting yourself to one section a day. Then we could get rid of the bs and get serious. hehehehe

I'm trying to post only on areas that I feel that need input. OK this is a extra post for me. :P I really wasn't worried about where I was, but now I sort of paying attention.
If I post more does that mean I get more respect? I get no respect. :P

I'm working my way in as well, though my input is usually minor unless I have a question... it seems that I have so few answers...

I have to ask a quick question... Does anyone really believe that thier is 650+ people that use these pages?
If no, than why would I want to have more than one log on name?
It seems kind of useless, is there some kind of contest that I am not aware of?
I am really enjoying all the info that is being exchanged here and looking forward to my first large post on the writers guild. I thought that was what this was all about.

1. 650 people -- no
2. yup. There is no contest that I know of
3. Info is great. Unfortunately I haven't generated much lately. I've been working on the Tax Generator program and the 3e stuff. Plus I'm getting ready to start my PBeM campaign back up. (Before you ask... sorry, no new players at this time).
I'll have you know I've cut down on my posts considerably in the last few days.

At the begining when i saw the high posts i was trying to get up there but now i am trying to limit myself to the things that make sense and get away from the things that dont have anything to do with BR or D&D.

but it bears repeating I think. Speaking for myself and some of my friends, we don't post as much because we just plain don't know enough yet. That's the beauty of this site. I come here 2 or 3 times a day, and learn something new each time. To paraphrase the old saying "Tis better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt."

Yes ashamed, but remember the more you post the more pretty little stars you will get next to your name (50 for 2 stars, 100 posts for 3 I think it is).

cool, then i should have 3 stars by now :P
Lord Eldred

so keep posting :-)

Obviously being lost doesn't count for as much as it used to. Must be inflation.

Those of the Lost are the moderators. Arjan was taking applications ages ago. There may be some slots still available.
