I don't know what everyone else does, but atleast I try to not let my
players read in the domain sourcebooks (as Ruins of Empire). They do
have alot of information which I think a person should know like how
much accumulated regencypoints, bloodpoints, holding levels and so on
all the NPC's has.

So I was thinking of writing down a short domain description with
information which I think a PC should be able to get quite easily (as
who is the ruler of a land, names of the main traders guilds are and so
on), but it seems to be quite alot of work as this will include all the
other areas except Vosland (as it had a quite good part for the
players), so I wanted to know if someone had done what I'm intending to
do?
If yes, plese e-mail me privately.

what i'd suggest is to photocopy the domain entry in question, then get a
black marker and obliterate any information you don't want them to have.
then you can give the censored domain descriptions out with a clear
conscience.

on the downside, if they play in other br games (or even run them) then
it's pretty unavoidable. in this situation simply change things. (although
to be fair you should warn the players you're doing so first, or it's
causes chaos when it comes to domain turns)
