The Warding spell description on BoM 115 reads: "A wizard or
priest with appropriate spells or magical items has a 50% chance of
successfully leading up to one person per level through the mist."
What "appropriate" means is not defined. Presumably something having to
do with divination and/or travel, but not all of them. For example, I
think Dimension Door would not work -- rather, the desired direction and
distance of travel would bounce off the Warding barrier.
Does anyone else have ideas on "appropriate"?
