Anyone with the Player's Secrets for Roesone willing to give me the info
(stats, blood abilities, items) of Marlae Roesone?
Kenneth Gauck

The source book for Roesone assumed she was never born so did not provide
her stats. Nine other characters were profiled, though. It apparently
never dawned on them that players might wish to base a campaign in Roesone
and not play the landed regent.

I have the Roesone sourcebook it doesn't give the stats or items of
Marlae Roesone. It only give her bloodline. Which is Brenna Major
24. It doesn't even give her blood abilities. I doubt by the way
that she doesn't have any. the Sourcebook is also lacking cause it
doesn't mention what troops Roesone has.

I've got that source, but Marlae Roesone's stats are not there. Sorry.

In Ruins of Empire it is clearly stated in the Special section of
Roesone's domain entry that Marlae Roesone can look through the eyes of
the cats in her domain so clearly she has Brenna's Animal Affinity (Major)
as a blood ability. Also, I would say it isn't unfair to give her the
same Charisma score as her little brother, namely Cha 15. Beyond that,
things are unclear, but don't let that bother you to give her any ability
score or blood ability you think would be reasonable (ie no Bloodtrait
or Long Life and stuff like that).

Oh, and I forgot to add: the Sourcebook _does_ mention what troops Roesone
has. Except it's not in the main text itself, but on a separate
cardsheet.

Maybe this isn't canon, but her stats in Gorgon's Alliance are thus:
Str: 11
Int: 14
Dex: 14
Wis: 14
Con: 13
Chr: 15
(F5, major 25, Brenna)
Enhanced Sense
Illusion
(She must also have that seeing through cats thing, but I guess they didn't
put that in the computer game.)

Wouldn't it be a Great ability? Animal Affinity as a Major power only
lets the scion speak with the totem animal. The Great ability
specifically says that the scion can see through the eyes of the totem
animal. And with a bloodline strength of 24, it IS possible to get a
Great ability (though it is highly unlikely).
The Roesone Sourcebook that I bought did not come with a listing of
the troops, but that doesn't really matter, since the troops are listed
in the Ruins of Empire.
As a side note, the Roesone sourcebook is one of the best "Player's
Secrets" since it is actually geared towards the players.

I believe it was one of the first. The troops are listed in the RoE so I guess
they didn't want to repeat them. They didn't list Marlae because I believe
they envisioned players being new characters not the pre-gens. Marlae has that
power to see through the eyes of cats, I believe it is enhanced sense or
something like that.

Yeah, sorry. Slip of the mind there. What I meant was Brenna's Animal
affinity (Great). So there.

Well, the sourcebook does add exactly where they are located, but that's
about it. Anyways, the listing of the troops is on the backside of the
cardsheet map of Roesone that comes with the sourcebook. Hope that helps.

I really wouldn't know. I've never checked out any other Player's Secrets
since I found the one on Roesone so sadly disappointing that I decided
never to buy another one again.

PS: are any of the Birthright adventure modules any good? I own Sword &
Crown myself, but I can't say I'm really enthusiastic about it.

I got ripped off then because I didn't get any cardsheet in my book.
I brought it brand new too.

Uh, what cardsheet? My PS didn't have any, and I, too, bought it new,
still with all that plastic around it.
Maybe you're talking about the Roesone cardsheet in the campaign box?

Ah... Maybe I'm mixin things up here... You see, I swapped some of my FR
stuff for my cousin's BR stuff, so I don't really know what comes from
which box. I can only guess. :)

Since I didn't get the card sheet in my copy of the Roesone source
book. Would you be able to tell me what troop are located there for
purpose of a campaign I'm in. I would appreciate that. Thanks.

I don't see why you need their placement as armied should not be a stagnent

They do have fixed places of residence, unless they sleep under the stars,
which severly debilitates most military units.
