For anyone out there interested in starting a very diffrent PBeM, I have
some ideas. The primary theme here is the past. One possiblity is a
campaign in Anuire at around 100-200 MR. There would be far fewer
domains, but it would be very interesting. Roesone would be split
between Diemed and Aerenwe. Ghoere would be two nations. Alamie would
be one with Tournen. This campaign would require a bit of work,
including a lot of reworking of holdings, but not as much as my next
idea. Idea number two features a time around -10,000 to -500 MA
(Maestinean Arrival). Much more of cerilia is woodland. There are no
awnsheglien or blooded people. Elves rule Cerilia, with the dwarves
living in (some examples) the Chimeraron, Baruk-Azhik, Mur-Kilad, The
Gorgon's Crown, and parts of the Seamist and Stonecrown mountians.
Goblins are the slaves of the elves, and rebellions are common. All
around Cerilia live water-dwelling creatures in vast underwater cities.
The saughien (sp? the Kraken's guys) are a major problem for the elves,
as they raid annually. They have also discouraged the elves from
building navies, and thier ships were primarily keelboats. This
campaign would be a lot of work to set up but might prove very
interesting. You'd have to rework the enitre map (reforest certain
regions, draw new political borders) and add many sea-kingdoms. On the
bright side, you won't really have to worry about guilds and temples in
this elf-dominated world.
Just my few massive ideas,
Andrew
