Ever since I have began playing in the BirthRight campaign world, I have
had an idea of running more than one group of players on Cerillia so that
they could interact with each other directly and indirectly through
political actions and other events that shake the Cerrelian community.
The problem I have had is finding other people and the time to do an
entirely different gaming group. This list provides an interesting
opportunity to allow interaction between gaming groups. Not so much that
groups would necessarily interact with each other or that someone or
someones would be dictating games or events to others, but that if we
share information on what our regent PCs are doing, then there is the
possibility for some really neat interaction between GMs and/or
interesting political subcurrents generated for one group based upon what
another has done. I feel like this could be really exciting and give the
GMs a break. If my group does something that affects the life of folks
in Reosone, no one else has to accept that it happened or allow it into
their gaming sessions, but if someone chose to let the event enter their
gaming sessions, then it could really spark a neat role playing encounter.
Just a thought. Suggestions?
