Hiya,

I'm looking to start up a pbem campaign based in Ilien (to start). All of
the players
will be adventurers (ie: no regents to begin with), and all can be blooded if
that is
their wish. I'm assuming that you know enough about BR to send me a character
concept without much assistance from me, as we all know that world.

What I want from you:

1. A brief description of the kind of character you would like to play. This
should
include his/her general background (race/birthnation/class) and a look at the
actual person that your character is (personality notes/drives and
motivations/
goals/hates/likes/etc). Be as detailed as you wish, but don't spend too much
of your time working on the character until I give you the go-ahead.

What I don't want:

1. Character Stats. I have my own character generation system that you will
get to work from. If I like your character concept, I'll send you what you
need to
build your character.

2. Bloodline derivation/powers. Unless you can work out choosing a particular
bloodline, or blood ability, as a *REALLY STRONG* background motivator;
don't touch these. I'll give the players I choose the info on getting
bloodlines
as well.

3. Incredibly powerful relatives. I don't need any players who are Marlae
Roseone's
younger brother, and therefore next in line to the throne. If you want some
noble
blood, that's fine; be her (or someone else's) second cousin, born out of
wedlock
or something like that. NO DIRECT TIES TO REGENTS.

That's basically it, in a general sense. I'll wait a few days while I read
over the
player descriptions that are sent to me. You can send more than one if you
like, as this will only increase your odds of designing a character that will
fit
into my campaign idea; just don't send me 20. I want you to play a character
you can enjoy, not one that you can simply play.

After I filter the characters down to the number I want, I'll contact
everyone who
got a letter to me and tell them what's the scoop. I'll even offer some of
the characters
a position on the "waiting list", as I am sure that I will be recieving more
quality
players than I have slots for.

That's all for now, hope to hear from some of ya real soon! :)
