I was looking through "Warlock of the Stonecrowns" earlier and I found
something rather conclusive regarding the existence of Drow in Birthright.
On page 52, the last paragraph of the first column mentions the Drow
specifically. Until seeing it I thought there were no Drow in Birthright.
Although it is open to the DM's discretion, I thought I should let everyone
know what I found.

It's true and this can means three things :
first - it was an error, th drow is a dark elf
second - exist a race of dark elves named drow and obiously similar their
cousin from others setting under Cerilia, so we have to determine their
statistic and abilities to fit BR
third - there are drow, standard drow, powerful, too powerful IMO for BR,
under Cerilia

What do you prefer ?

I told my Elf players that their characters knew of the existence of Drow,
but they don't like to talk about it. Few humans, if any, know about the
Drow. Dwarves also know of them; as do Orogs. However, the Drow do not
interact with others if they can avoid it. Fortunately, they live deep
enough that they don't have to worry much about it. Based on this, little
is known about them, and little has to be done about them. This way, I
don't have to do much altering of the Drow, yet they can still exist. At
this time, I don't intend on having any contact between the heroes and the Drow.
