Hi, welcome
I know everyone of us can and want helping you in roleplaying such a difficult (thus
interesting) role (yeap, even describing how a halfing was among azraies is a great
task).
But for first and best i suggest you to read BR books (your DM will not, i hope, stop
you in that), just in the Iron Throne there is a lot about halflings, but in the others
too.
