Discussion thread for Rennir Olafsson (http://www.birthright.net/brwiki/index.php/Rennir Olafsson).
This is definitely an example of where I think his stats are far too puny. His age can't have reduced his physical stats, but his mental stats are very average. However did this chap become Hugh Druid?

Experience, luck, high wisdom! god visions... who knows... but yeah... perhaps a bit too low...
He is perhaps senile, too. Due to old age. Justifying lowered mental and physical attributes.

Well, if he's senile, chances are that he can't achieve spiritual union with nature or cast spells. Being able to do those things would imply the D&D elder whose mental scores are much improved and show no signs of mental degradation.

His numbers aren't that bad, the NPC array that gives you 10,10,10,11,11,11 is only 15 points. To get a Wisdom of 16, with the NPC array, Rennier needed to leave Str, Int, and Cha at their basic level.
If Adept didn't include a curious mix of arcane and divine spells, I might have just made him an Adept.
There are some NPC classes and builds floating around out there.
I suspect Stjordvik is not a premier appointment in the Emerald Spiral, and Rennir, is both not their top man, and with a bloodline of 15, is capable of properly managing affairs. So he got stuck in the basement office.
