I was wondering if anyone had done any work around compiling a list of existing trade routes. Obviously these will vary from campaign to campaign - but I'm just looking for something I can amend if necessary and directly apply to my campaign. In particular, I'm interested in the Southern Heartlands (focused on Roesone).

Any help gratefully received.

Sorry, I can`t be of much help on this one, but I wanted to chime in to say
that it would be nice, wouldn`t it? I`d like a list of all the roads,
bridges, trade routes and ley lines, but pouring through all the
sourcebooks and Player`s Secrets books would be pretty numbing... not to
mention that because some of that info comes from those PSo books the
realms that don`t have such a text are kind of out in the cold as far as
those items are concerned.

As someone who is, at this moment, pawing through as many PSo` as he he
can get his hands on, I will have to agree with Gary. It`s both slow and
frustrating, especially when the information is simply not their or is
just really weird (PS: Medoere anyone?).

Well, I have different rules for restricting trade routes but to give
you an idea. The ratings are the approximate value of the trade routes
in GB per domain turn in my campaign after tax and law claims etc.Under
standard rules the gross income for EH`s trade routes would instead be
45 GB.

el-Hadid (Port of call - based in Ilien)(rating 14)
from Ilien (large port) to Medoere, from Ilien (large port) to Roesone,
from Aenier(port) to Medoere, from Aenier(port) to Roesone, from
Ilien(Large port) to Zikala, from Ilien (large port) to Ariya, from
Caercas (river port) to Ilien, from Aerele (large sea port) to Binsada

Siele Ghoried (Spider River Traders, based in Aerenwe really - should be
Spirit River Traders)(rating 6)
from Caercas (by road) to Aerenwe, from Calrie (river port) to Osoerde,
from Calrie (by road) to Roesone

Orthien Tane (based in Medoere/Diemed)(rating 6)
from Caercas to Medoere, from Braeme to Ilien, from Braeme to Roesone,
From Braeme to Diemed, from Aerele to Medoere, from Moere to Avanil

Kalien (based in Endier)(rating 12)
from Moere to Endier, from Moere to the Imperial City, from Endier to
Alamie, from Endier to Turonen, from Endier to Ghoere, from Endier to
Alamie, from Endier to Diemed, from Ghieste to Endier, Imperial City to
Rohrmarch, Imperial City to Diemed

Do you want the PS of Medoere? - there`s no mention of trade routes in
it - just a discussion of the guilders general demeanor, aims etc and
the reaction of the theocracy to them. i.e. el-Hadid is favored over
Tane, Kalien is tolerated just. Medoere is allegedly only eight years
old as a realm.
