Kinetti:
At last, I am not alone… Someone else has finally seen one of the most
irritating aspects of this list. Open Cerilia to the planes! Of course,
there is that rule that all naturally occuring Portals on Æbrynis open
into the Shadow World and not the Normal World. Oh well, up, up, and
away! (Its so much safer).

Because they like the way Birthright is set up and adding in elements
from the rest of the Universe can ruin it's flavor.

On other campaign worlds, it's pretty much a, you see one elf (dwarf,
halfling, whatever), you've seen them all kind of thing. Sure, they have
different names (gold and moon or silvanesti and qualinesti), but they are
all similar in the extreme. To follow this, all these standard campaigns
are on the same prime and can reach each other via spelljamming (if you like
that idea), thus making it possible that sometime, way in the past, all the
elves/ dwarves/ whatever came from the same physical location.
In Aebrynis, the critters are just different. The dwarves are made out
of stone, for crying out loud. These guys have very little connection with
the creatures of other campaigns. But, if the worlds were connected, they
would be more similar. It's isolation that breeds diversity. A small
population that doesn't mix with the whole will become very different. So,
Aebrynis has to be cut off in some way. I personally like the idea that to
get here via planeswalking, you have to get through the Shadow World, and it
*should* be completely cut off via spelljamming. Even if players got a
spelljammer here somehow, dragged it through the SW or whatever, I still
probably wouldn't let it work.

Hey Kinetti didn't know you were on this list. :)
Anyway it's not that I don't want it to be connected to everything else I just
know my players and what they would do if they got a hold of a few
spelljammers. Besides I kinda like it as it is. :)

its more a matter of trying to keep the OTHERS from being made permanent
fixtures in Cerilia via supplements and modules.
