    Gorgon's Alliance Multiplayer

    Hiya.
So, me and my friends FINALLY got Birthright working on Windows 8 using some methods described on this forum. It's the DOS version. There is one player. The multiplayer option is disabled?

Why is that? We just want to do regular hot-seat multiplayer, no lan or internet.
    Please help.

Have a read of BR-Gorgon's-Alliance-Has-ANYONE-got-LAN-multiplayer-to-work-ever . You might get a solution out of that.

I played it 3 player over internet... 10yrs ago? LOL
However, I don't think the DOS version does work with playing multiplayer.

Think that is the case as well, DM-Isaelie.
Problem is getting a Windows 95 install. Does anyone know how to do that on a windows7/8 computer?

Jeezez these old games are tough to get working.

Well, I think I figured out a way to work it...

VirtualBox Windows XP, install BR on there, and you can internet access through it - and multiplayer it.

    https://www.virtualbox.org/

You can have your CD ROM drive "seen" by the virtual box for the CD for Win XP (or I suppose a "mounted" CD ROM drive), install it that way, and then put the BR CD in, and it installs. Then log onto this website from the virtual box WinXP and download the 1.4 patch from here.
