The Crown of Glory is a constellation 6 stars high that can be seen from Cerilia. They are taken to resemble Haelyn the warrior god standing ready. The constellation is at its highest in the sky due south of Cerilia. On the Night of Fire (summer solstice), the entire constellation is visible from southern Cerilia. Throughout the year, the lower stars drop below the southern horizon. The only night in the year on which none of the stars are visible from southern Anuire is the Eve of the Dead (winter solstice), for then even the crown or head star abandons those below. Those in the more northern parts of Cerilia must endure the constellation's absence for even longer.

To visualize the behaviour of the constellation through the year, one can consider the highest and lowest points; the Head and the foot of the soldier.

The Head star needs to be visible the entire night of the summer solstice. Each night after, the star rises (in the east) and sets (in the west) a bit earlier. Starting in autumn, the star spends more time above the horizon during the day than at night. Come the winter solstice, it rises at sunrise and sets at dusk (thus above the horizon during the day and unseen).
