Elka is King Uldviik Varrigsson’s main lieutenant. She helps him to oversee the realm in his absence and also leads bands of rangers along the Urga-Zai frontier. King Dargal of Urga-Zai has placed a bounty of 5,000 gold pieces on Thajuula's head as a result of the many goblin warriors whom she has personally or indirectly slain.
