This is a [[SRD]] category for fiends. In Birthright the planar situation is not entirely clear, some sources indicate that only the world of Aebrynis and the Shadow World exist, others that the normal D&D cosmology can be reached via the Shadow World.
Whichever interpretation is used fiends are readily available - the Shadow World is in places a realm of nightmares and as such fiends may simply be manifestations of the Shadow world formed from the seeming by the summoning wizard/priest or natives of fouler areas of the shadow World.
