Gaered Vorduine

Gaered Vorduine is a scion of the house of Vorduine, former lords of Northguard in Ghalliere, dispossessed by Jaison Raenech, the Duke of Osoerde. Gaered's brother Coradan Vorduine fights with William Moergen, but Gaered and his brother fought as stubborn brothers often do. Though Gaered supports the cause of Duke William and loves his brother, Coradan, Gaered chose the life of a knight errant.
Educated by the Church of Storm's Height, Gaered has preferred to stay close to temples of Cuiraécen during his wanderings. He first made his way to Balteruine where he fight with the Militant Order of Cuiraécen in defense of Mhoried. He then wandered across Elinie righting wrongs and helping the weak. This cause he found so ennobling that he made his way to Kiergard where he was able to do some good, but spent most of his time running from the soldiers of the Markgraf Onwen Spakeheart. In Kiergard, Gaered found the Stormlord Seerbrand, and took up service with them, rising to become one of Kurt Warkinde's principle commanders. Over time, conflict between Gaered and Fürst Oden Rohr made it impossible for Gaered to remain in service with the Stormlord Seerbrand. He journeyed south and took up service in Binsada.
His command was energetic, and he never rested, bringing the energy and passion of the storms off the Baïr el-Mehare to his duty. The Sultana appreciated his devotion and energy, and gave him more and more responsibility, eventually naming him captain general of the armies.
In Binsada the Binsadan Temple of Leira preaches the joyful accord of Leira and Khirdai a doctrine that appeals to Gaered. If the people of Binsada are the children of Leira, Gaered, a devoted servant of Khirdai
is duty boud to protect them with the love of his patron for theirs.
