The Deretha were the fifth tribe of the Andu and were one of the 12 original tribes of the Andu who settled western Cerilia.
The tribe settled the area now occupied by the Duchy of Diemed. Many of its members perished in the centuries before Deismaar.
Some clans, however, had survived and joined the Andu's side at the Battle of Mount Deismaar.
After the battle the surviving Derethas became loyal vassals of Roele.
