House Brokeslav is a noble family of the Vos kingdom of Rzhlev. Rokslav was a war chief of Viktor The Tyrant, and was awarded the province of Steppegrad after the Vos conquest of the realm around the second century (~120 MR). The conquest of the province was fierce. The Brecht were pushed out of the valley, with some fleeing the mountains and were pursued in manhunts, but most of the resistance was pushed off towards the sea. Some surrendered but one out of ten Brecht soldiers was forced over the cliffs near Plzarskyy. This was seen as a pious act by Rokslav as he wanted the fighters to atone for their lack of courage and surrender.
House Brokeslav (probably a bastardization of Rokslav's name, given that it was passed on using oral tradition) as always been an house dear to Belinik due to their devotion and their deep hatred for each other. The house has shed its share of blood, both of other families and their own, and has kept certain traits such as bursts of rage and severe lack of social understanding as gifts from the dark god to be preserved by in-clan marriages, although never on close relationship but always with cadet branches.

- Misha Brokeslav, married with Chessa Brokeslav (cadet branch):
- Yuri Brokeslav, first born, died on a raid;
- Nikoli Brokeslav, War Master of the Belinik Tsarevic;
- Ylenia Brokeslav, now married with Drago Molev;
- Yuria Brokeslav, age 18, devoted to the arcane art;
- Misha Brokeslav, born a month after his father's death, still an infant.
- Vladimir Brokeslav, married with Mara Lazz:
- Galina Brokeslav, current zhupan of Steppegrad.

- The house bonded with House Molev for alliance purposes against the Grovnikken Stohlevvskyy, whom they despise;
- The house looks down on House Lazz as they did not accepted any priest in their province;
- House Evuarr was considered a friend until Markov Evuarr refused marriage with Yuria;
- There is no love for House Nyur for their tolerance of the Ayairden Vierklevven in Nyurskyy;
- A deep connection with the royal house of Rodelovisk may be more than simple vassalage to Marisha and acknowledgment of the honor bestowed to Nikoli.
[top]Brokeslav Characters
Brokeslavs are fanatics and recluse - they put Belinik first, then House Brokeslav then the tsarina. Everything else does not really matter. They are often of barbarians or priests class, depending on how much the genetic defect passed with such small genetic pool has passed on the "gifts of Belinik". As a form of bloodmark, they often have platinum blonde or white hair. All Brokeslavs know to ride and handle animals, and are skilled manhunters sharpening their Search and Survival skills. The battleaxe is the family's weapon, dear to Belinik, and even wizards are proficient with such weapon.
In politics, they support anything the Belinik Tsarevic indicates; otherwise the word of the tsarina is law.
