Dragon Sea

The Dragon Sea is a large ocean between Cerilia and Djapar. It is an ill charted, dangerous body of water subject to confusing mists and fogs. The legendary Dragon Isles lie far out to sea, and many fantastic lands are rumored to lie beyond. To the west, beyond the Island States lies the Baïr el-Mehare. The Khinasi of the eastern most Drocandragh and the Island States often venture into the Dragon Sea, though voyages here are much riskier than in the more favorable weather of the Baïr el-Mehare.
Khinasi and Basarji traders often travel its waters, although the priesthoods of Djapar discourage interactions between the two peoples. The Dragon Sea is home to the awnsheghlien known as the Leviathan, a vast sea-beast empowered by Azrai during the Shadow War and now the terror of shipping during its intermittent periods of activity.
