Daene Moergen is the Count of Moergen.
The County Moergen was sized by Jaison Raenech along with the throne of Osoerde. Being the Ancestral Home of the Moergen family, it is no wonder that Raenech seized the county from Arthur Moergen by escheat. The old count was exiled and Duke Jaison held the land as vacant until he found a distaff member of the Moergen family, the despised Daene Moergen, to be the new Count. Needless to say, this has not made him very popular with the other members of the Moergen family, who still retain their lands.
