Gheaden Forge is the largest town of the County of Bellam and its (and Roesone's) center of mining and associated manufacture. It has over 2000 inhabitants and almost all of them are miners or craftsmen and workers employed by local smelters and smiths. Although it is an extremely productive and prosperous town, it is also very undesirable to live in because of the smoke generated by the ironworks and a high rate of crime caused by desperate souls who failed to find any work in the mines or guilds.
